Key Responsibilities:

- Sound knowledge on ASME Codes - piping
- Review and verify piping isometric drawings against P&IDs;, layouts, and 3D models to ensure routing integrity, component placement, and labelling accuracy.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, engineering standards, ASME/API codes, and client requirements.
- Check dimensional accuracy, verify lengths, angles, elevations, supports, and weld locations align with project requirements.
- Perform clash detection and spatial coordination with structures, equipment, and other systems using CAD/PDMS/E3D/Smart Plant/Navisworks.
- Cross-verify line lists to confirm correct line numbers, sizes, ratings, material specs, insulation, and spool details.
- Ensure constructability: validate access, supports, straight-run lengths, line breaks, and maintenance considerations.
- Redline drawings and mark-up required changes, track and record revisions and approvals.
- Maintain detailed records of checks, deviations, and approvals; prepare reports for engineering review boards.
- Participate in design reviews, technical discussions,



and coordination meetings to resolve drawing issues.
- Preparation of Piping Isometrics based on Layout drawing.
- Preparation of Piping Design by referring P&ID;
- Ability to read P & ID and based on that prepare Piping 3D
- Ability to read CAESAR II report.
- Extraction of BOM from Isometric drawing
- Familiar with Navis model and clash test
- Ability to handle projects individually

Skills and Experience Required:

- 8 to 10 years of experience in piping design and engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience working in the oil and gas industry
- Strong understanding of industry codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.)
- Experience with 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, Cad Works, AutoCAD
- Robust leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of excel word and Power point
- Knowledge of working on CAESAR II (will be given preference)
