Position: Telecaller
Department: Sales & Marketing / Business Development
Location: Jakkur, Bangalore

Reporting To: Sales / Business Development Manager
1. Job Purpose
The Telecaller will be responsible for making outbound calls to existing and potential customers, generating business leads, promoting company products/services, following up with prospects, and maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions.
The role requires good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to consistently follow up with prospects to support the sales and business development team.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Outbound Calling
- Make daily outbound calls to prospective and existing customers.
- Introduce the company, products, services, events, publications, and other business offerings.
- Explain products/services clearly and professionally.
- Identify customer requirements and business opportunities.
- Handle customer questions and provide appropriate information.
- Generate qualified leads for the sales team.
B. Lead Follow-Up
- Follow up with leads generated through calls, website enquiries, campaigns, events, exhibitions, and other sources.
- Maintain regular follow-ups until the lead is converted, closed, or marked as not interested.
- Schedule meetings or discussions between prospects and the sales team whenever required.
- Ensure no assigned lead is left without proper follow-up.
C. Sales Support
- Support the sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly targets.
- Promote advertising packages, event participation, sponsorship opportunities, subscriptions, products, and other company offerings as assigned.
- Share quotations, brochures, presentations, and other approved sales materials with prospects.
- Coordinate with the concerned sales executive for further discussions and negotiations.
D. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and prospects.
- Understand customer requirements and communicate them to the concerned team.
- Record customer feedback, objections, requirements, and follow-up status.
- Ensure timely communication with customers.
E. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of all calls and customer interactions.
- Update lead status, call remarks, follow-up dates, and customer requirements in the designated CRM/system.
- Prepare daily and weekly calling reports.
- Submit regular updates on:
- Number of calls made
- Calls connected
- New leads generated
- Follow-ups completed
- Meetings scheduled
- Interested prospects
- Conversions
- Pending follow-ups
- Keep customer and prospect databases updated.
3. Daily Responsibilities
The Telecaller is expected to:
- Complete the assigned number of calls every working day.
- Follow up on all pending leads.
- Update call remarks immediately after the conversation.
- Maintain the next follow-up date for every active prospect.
- Share qualified leads with the concerned sales team.
- Participate in team meetings and daily sales discussions.
- Submit the required daily activity report.
4. Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good English communication skills.
- Kannada/Hindi or other regional language knowledge will be an advantage.
- Good listening and convincing skills.
- Basic sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle customer objections professionally.
- Good follow-up skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and CRM software is preferred.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work with daily and monthly targets.

6. Performance Parameters / KPIs
Performance may be evaluated based on:
- Daily outbound calls completed.
- Call connectivity and meaningful conversations.
- Number of qualified leads generated.
- Follow-up completion rate.
- Meetings/demonstrations scheduled.
- Lead-to-opportunity conversion.
- Sales/conversions generated.
- Accuracy of CRM/database updates.
- Timeliness of reporting.
- Customer feedback and communication quality.
7. Educational Qualification
- Graduate candidates will be preferred.
- Candidates with prior telecalling, telesales, customer service, or business development experience will be an advantage.
8. Experience
Freshers: 0–2 years of experience may apply.
Candidates with experience in telecalling, telesales, media sales, event sales, advertising sales, B2B sales, or customer relationship management will be preferred.
9. Working Conditions
- Full-time office-based position.
- Regular outbound calling and customer follow-ups.
- The role may involve working with daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Candidate should be comfortable using computers, CRM systems, spreadsheets, email, and telephone communication.
10. Key Objective
To generate qualified leads, maintain consistent customer follow-ups, support the sales team, and contribute to the company's overall business development and revenue targets through effective telecalling and customer communication.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
