Job Summary

We are looking for a Cost & Inventory Accountingto support factory accounting, inventory accounting, manufacturing cost analysis, audit activities, compliance, and financial reporting. The role will involve coordination with Head Office, vendors, customs/logistics teams, and cross-functional departments.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Accounting

- Maintain accurate accounting of raw materials, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and finished goods.
- Monitor raw material consumption and finished goods stock.
- Perform inventory reconciliation and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Support physical verification of inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and supporting documentation.

Fixed Assets

- Maintain and regularly update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR).
- Support physical verification of fixed assets.
- Ensure proper recording of asset additions, transfers, and disposals.

Factory & Cost Accounting

- Maintain factory accounts, production expenses, and inventory records.
- Monitor manufacturing and production-related expenses.
- Prepare cost sheets and support manufacturing cost analysis.
- Support inventory audits and maintain effective factory financial controls.

Vendor Accounting & Documentation

- Assist with vendor onboarding and KYC documentation.
- Maintain complete and accurate vendor records.
- Ensure proper accounting documentation and supporting records.

Import & Export Accounting

- Handle accounting activities related to import and export transactions.
- Coordinate customs documentation, shipping documents, and logistics-related activities.
- Ensure proper recording and documentation of import/export transactions.

Audit & Compliance

- Maintain complete accounting records, audit schedules, and supporting documentation.




- Support internal audits, statutory audits, and compliance reviews.
- Provide required financial information and documents to auditors and internal stakeholders.

Reporting & Coordination

- Coordinate with Head Office and cross-functional teams for financial information and reporting.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, schedules, and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial information.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in inventory and factory accounting.
- Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting and cost sheets.
- Good MS Excel skills.
- Knowledge of ERP/accounting software is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Good attention to detail and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Education & Experience

- Qualification: B.Com / M.Com
- Experience: 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in manufacturing/factory accounting is preferred.
- Exposure to inventory, cost accounting, audits, and import/export accounting will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
