Job Summary

The Consulting Dermatologist is responsible for providing comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and management of skin, hair, nail, and cosmetic dermatological conditions while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed dermatological consultations and clinical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage skin, hair, nail, scalp, and related medical conditions.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical assessment and patient needs.
- Prescribe medications and provide appropriate follow-up care.
- Perform minor dermatological procedures as per qualification and clinic protocols.
- Provide counseling regarding skincare, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Assess patients for cosmetic dermatology procedures when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
- Review investigation reports and correlate findings with clinical presentation.
- Refer patients for appropriate investigations or specialist consultation when required.
- Monitor treatment response and modify treatment plans when clinically indicated.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all clinic policies and professional standards.
- Coordinate with other specialists and healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Ensure compliance with infection-control, patient-safety, and clinical-quality standards.




- Maintain professional knowledge through continuing medical education and current clinical practices.
- Participate in clinic health camps, awareness programs, and other professional activities when required.

Qualifications

- MBBS with a postgraduate qualification in Dermatology, such as:
- MD Dermatology
- DNB Dermatology
- DDVL or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.

Experience

- Previous experience as a Dermatologist in a hospital, clinic, or dermatology centre is preferred.
- Fresh postgraduate candidates may also be considered based on clinic requirements.
