Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Head – Broking Operations to lead the end-to-end operations of our broking business.

The role will oversee Risk Management/RMS, Back Office & Settlement, Depository/DP Operations, Banking & Payments, Exchange & Clearing, Regulatory Operations and Client Operations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for strengthening operational controls, improving efficiency, driving automation and ensuring seamless trade-to-settlement processes while maintaining a high-quality client experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end broking operations and operational risk management.
- Oversee RMS, including exposure, margins, collateral, MTF, F&O;, intraday and pledged securities.
- Manage trade processing, settlements, pay-in/pay-out, reconciliation, corporate actions, ledgers and client reporting.
- Oversee CDSL/NSDL DP operations, including demat, transfers, pledge/unpledge, DDPI, transmission and account closure.
- Manage client fund movement, banking operations, UPI, payment gateways and settlement-related payments.
- Coordinate with NSE, BSE, MCX, clearing corporations,



CDSL and NSDL.
- Ensure timely implementation of SEBI, exchange, clearing corporation and depository regulations.
- Strengthen SOPs, maker-checker controls, audit trails, BCP and operational risk frameworks.
- Drive automation, STP and process improvement to reduce manual intervention.
- Partner with Technology/Product teams on OMS, RMS, Back Office, DP, reconciliation, payment and onboarding systems.
- Manage key operational vendors, technology partners and SLAs.
- Lead and develop large, cross-functional operations teams.

Candidate Profile

- 12–18 years of relevant experience in broking operations, RMS, settlements, capital markets or financial services.
- Solid understanding of the Indian stockbroking and capital markets ecosystem.
- Proven leadership experience across RMS, settlements, DP and back-office operations.
- Strong knowledge of SEBI, NSE, BSE, MCX, CDSL and NSDL regulations and processes.
- Experience with operational technology, automation and STP initiatives.
- Strong understanding of operational risk, controls, audits, SOPs and business continuity.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing vendors and technology partners will be an advantage.
- Candidates from stockbroking firms, capital market institutions, wealth platforms or similar financial-services organizations are preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹97,703.96 per month
