About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic HVAC Design Engineer with 1 to 5 years of experience in HVAC system design for commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, or data centre projects. The candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC systems, preparing engineering calculations, equipment selection, BOQ preparation, and coordinating with project stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesHVAC Design & Engineering

- Perform Heat Load Calculations using HAP or equivalent software.
- Design VRF/VRV, DX, Chilled Water and Ventilation Systems.
- Prepare HVAC layouts, ducting layouts, piping layouts, and schematic drawings.
- Carry out duct sizing, pipe sizing, ESP calculations, and pump head calculations.
- Select HVAC equipment including:
- AHU
- FCU
- VRF/VRV Units
- Chillers
- Cooling Towers
- Pumps
- Ventilation Fans
- Air Distribution Devices

Drawings & Documentation

- Prepare HVAC drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
- Develop Single Line Diagrams and Schematics.
- Prepare BOQ, Quantity Take-off, and Material Estimates.
- Generate Technical Submittals and Design Reports.
- Review shop drawings and vendor submissions.

Coordination

- Coordinate with Architects, Consultants, Clients, and Project Teams.
- Attend design review meetings and resolve technical queries.




- Support procurement and execution teams with technical requirements.

Compliance & Quality

- Ensure designs comply with ISHRAE, ASHRAE, SMACNA, and applicable standards.
- Follow project specifications and client requirements.
- Maintain quality and accuracy of engineering deliverables.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in HVAC Design.
- Experience in Commercial, Residential, Retail, Healthcare, Hospitality, or Industrial Projects.
