Role Summary
The Manager/Senior Manager – HCM Practice will own the end-to-end charter of this new practice line: market positioning,
client acquisition, solution consulting, and delivery oversight. This is a builder's role suited to someone who has operated at
the intersection of HR strategy, technology, and business development, and who is ready to take on P&L-style ownership of a
new practice within an established professional services firm.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Building & Strategy
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the HCM practice, in collaboration with PKF leadership and the
uKnowva partnership team
- Develop the practice's service offerings, pricing framework, and delivery methodology for HRMS advisory and
implementation engagements
- Build collateral, case studies, and a market positioning that differentiates PKF's HCM offering in a competitive HR-tech
landscape
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify, pursue, and convert opportunities for HCM/HRMS advisory and implementation engagements across PKF's
existing client base and current prospects
- Lead client pitches, proposals, and commercial negotiations independently
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads, working closely with PKF's broader Assurance, Tax, and Consulting
teams to cross-sell into existing relationships
- Represent PKF at industry forums, HR conferences, and partner events to build the practice's market visibility
Client & Delivery Management
- Act as the primary client-facing owner for HCM engagements, from scoping through implementation and go-live
- Coordinate with the uKnowva delivery and product teams to ensure client requirements are translated into effective
HRMS configurations
- Oversee project timelines, quality of delivery,
and client satisfaction across active engagements
- Manage escalations and ensure engagements are commercially sound and delivered on scope
Partnership Management
- Serve as the key relationship owner between PKF and uKnowva, ensuring alignment on joint go-to-market plans, lead
sharing, and delivery standards
- Provide market feedback to uKnowva to help shape product and partnership priorities
Candidate Profile
- 10-15+ years of overall professional experience, with a substantial portion in HR consulting, HRMS/HR-tech sales, or
HR advisory services
- Demonstrated experience in business development and client-facing sales, ideally having carried a revenue or pipeline
target
- Strong understanding of HRMS/HCM platforms and the HR technology landscape — prior experience selling,
implementing, or advising on HRMS solutions is highly preferred
- Proven ability to manage consulting engagements or projects involving multiple stakeholders (client, internal teams,
technology partners)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to engage CXO/CHRO-
level client contacts
- Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable operating with the ambiguity of building a new practice rather than running an
established one
- Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai; willingness to travel for client and partner meetings
What This Role Offers
- The opportunity to build and lead a new digital-HCM practice from its early stages within an established professional
services brand
- Direct exposure to PKF's leadership and a strategic partnership with a growing HRMS platform
- Autonomy to shape the practice's strategy, offerings, and go-to-market approach
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Paid sick time
- Provident Fund
