Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Assistant Restaurant Manager (ARM) to support the Restaurant/Outlet Manager in managing daily café operations. The candidate will be responsible for team handling, customer service, sales, coffee and food quality, inventory, hygiene, and achieving operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Restaurant/Outlet Manager in managing daily café operations.
- Supervise, train, and motivate the café team to achieve business targets.
- Allocate staff duties and manage shift schedules effectively.
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints professionally.
- Monitor sales, billing, cash handling, and daily collections.
- Ensure quality and consistency of coffee, beverages, food, and service.
- Monitor inventory of coffee beans, beverages, food ingredients, packaging materials, and other supplies.
- Control wastage and ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices.
- Coordinate with the kitchen/barista/service teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure café cleanliness, hygiene, grooming, and food safety standards.
- Monitor staff attendance, discipline, performance, and productivity.
- Track and achieve KPI/KRA, sales, customer satisfaction, and operational targets.
- Conduct opening and closing checks and ensure proper shift handovers.




- Handle POS-related issues and ensure accurate billing.
- Prepare daily sales, inventory, wastage, and operational reports.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments when required.
- Ensure all company SOPs, safety procedures, and café standards are followed.
- Support the Outlet Manager during promotions, events, and peak business hours.

Required Skills

- 2–5 years of experience in Coffee Shop / Café / QSR / Restaurant / F&B; operations.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team-handling role.
- Knowledge of café operations and customer service.
- Knowledge of coffee, beverages, food quality, and service standards will be preferred.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Good knowledge of KPI/KRA, sales targets, inventory, and wastage control.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of POS and MS Excel.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualification

Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
