Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AWS Migration Engineer with hands-on expertise in migrating applications and databases from on-premises environments to AWS. The ideal candidate should have practical experience with AWS Application Migration Service (AWS MGN) and be comfortable managing migration activities from readiness assessment through production cutover.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute application and server migrations from on-premises infrastructure to AWS using AWS MGN.
- Manage migration waves, replication-agent installation, replication monitoring and test launches.
- Perform migration readiness checks, validation, production cutover and post-migration monitoring.
- Support rollback planning, go/no-go decisions and troubleshooting during migration.
- Work with Windows Server and Linux environments, networking, DNS, routing, firewalls and connectivity.
- Coordinate application and database migration activities and ensure post-migration validation.
- Prepare migration documentation, runbooks and status reports.
- Troubleshoot replication,



connectivity, performance and migration-related issues.

Required Skills

- 6–8 years of overall relevant experience in cloud, infrastructure or migration engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Application Migration Service (AWS MGN).
- Practical experience in application migration and database migration.
- Good understanding of AWS infrastructure, EC2, VPC, EBS, networking and security groups.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux and SQL Server.
- Understanding of migration lifecycle, replication, test launches, production cutover and rollback procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting, coordination and documentation skills.

Work Model
The role is remote. Candidates must be based in Noida, Pune, Mangalore or Chennai and should be comfortable attending an office meeting once a month, if required.
