Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D mechanical drawings for industrial furnaces and furnace components.

Develop General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, assembly, and part drawings.

Prepare drawings for furnace structures, chambers, frames, ducts, platforms, doors, burners, piping supports, and other mechanical components.

Convert engineering concepts, sketches, and design calculations into detailed manufacturing drawings.

Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and material specifications.

Ensure proper dimensions, tolerances, welding symbols, surface finishes, and manufacturing details are incorporated into drawings.

Make revisions to drawings based on engineering and production requirements.

Coordinate with design engineers, production, fabrication, and site teams to resolve drawing-related issues.

Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with company standards before release for manufacturing.

Maintain proper records and revision control of engineering drawings.

Support the engineering team in preparing drawings for customized furnace projects.

* Required Technical Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

Knowledge of SolidWorksGood knowledge of mechanical drafting and engineering drawing standards.

Understanding of fabrication, welding, sheet-metal work,



structural fabrication, and machining.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and engineering specifications.

Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerances, fits, welding symbols, and material specifications.

Basic understanding of industrial furnace construction and components is preferred.

Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, for preparing BOMs and documentation.

Relevant experience in furnace, industrial equipment, heavy fabrication, or machinery manufacturing will be preferred.

Experience in any of the following industries will be an advantage:

Industrial furnace manufacturing

Heat-treatment equipment

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
