- Supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and utility equipment failures.
- Coordinate with technicians for timely repairs.
- Ensure proper maintenance planning and execution.
- Verify completion and documentation of maintenance work orders.
- Support installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.
Documentation:
- Maintain shift logbooks and engineering records.
- Prepare maintenance reports and utility consumption reports.
- Complete equipment history records.
Safety:
- Follow EHS policies and secure work practices.
- Ensure use of PPE during maintenance activities.
- Implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures before maintenance.
- Report unsafe conditions and near-miss incidents.
Team Management:
- Supervise maintenance technicians and utility operators.
- Allocate shift responsibilities.
- Train operators on SOPs and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with contractors during maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
- Diploma: 5–6 years in pharmaceutical utilities and maintenance.
- Bachelor's Degree: 3–4 years in pharmaceutical engineering or utilities.
- Experience in regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.
