Job Summary:
We are looking for a caring, responsible, and patient Caretaker to provide day-to-day care and support for children with special needs. The candidate should be comfortable working in shifts and should have a genuine interest in caring for children in a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care, supervision, and assistance to special children.
- Handle children with patience, kindness, love, and respect.
- Assist children with feeding, hygiene, dressing, toileting, and other daily activities.
- Have basic knowledge and ability to feed babies and young children safely.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of children throughout the assigned shift.
- Support children during sleeping, play, meals, therapy, and daily routines.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the children and their immediate surroundings.
- Observe and report any changes in the child's health, behaviour, food intake, or general condition to the concerned staff.
- In emergency situations, accompany and stay with the child at the hospital as a caregiver/bystander, as instructed by the management.
- Coordinate respectfully with therapists, teachers, nurses, parents,



and other staff.
- Follow all institutional child-safety, hygiene, emergency, and care protocols.
- Perform other reasonable child-care duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, daycare, residential care, special-needs care, nursing assistance, or a similar role is preferred.
- Experience handling babies or children with special needs will be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills and a responsible attitude.
- Should be patient, caring, trustworthy, and child-friendly.
- Ability to work day/night/rotational shifts as required.
- Should be physically capable of assisting children with their daily activities.
- Basic understanding of feeding, hygiene, and child safety.
