Job Summary
Windows / GCP Cloud Engineer (L3) with expertise in Enterprise Windows, GCP PaaS, Kubernetes/GKE, Azure-to-GCP Migration, Terraform, DevOps, and Automation.
Lead the design, migration, modernization, automation, and operational support of Enterprise Windows workloads transitioning from Microsoft Azure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The role involves cloud modernization, platform engineering, infrastructure automation, and L3 production support.
Key Responsibilities
Drive infrastructure-as-code, DevOps, platform engineering, and automation initiatives to improve scalability, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
Provide L3 technical leadership and production support for mission-critical applications and cloud platforms across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Collaborate with architects, SREs, DevSecOps teams, application owners, and migration factories to successfully deliver Azure-to-GCP transformation programs.
Champion cloud best practices aligned to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering, Cloud Governance, Security, and FinOps principles.
Lead assessment, planning, and execution of Azure-to-GCP workload migrations, including Windows-based applications and cloud services.
Design, build, and support GCP solutions utilizing GCE, GKE, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Load Balancers, IAM, Cloud Operations Suite, and related services.
Drive Kubernetes/GKE platform engineering activities including cluster deployment, hardening, upgrades, troubleshooting, observability, and performance optimization.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and automation frameworks.
Build CI/CD pipelines and implement DevOps practices using Git, GitOps, Terraform, Cloud Build, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent tools.
Skill Requirements
Strong expertise in Enterprise Windows Server Administration
Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, PowerShell, and Windows security hardening.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including:
Compute Engine (GCE)
Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
Cloud Load Balancing
Cloud Storage
Cloud Operations Suite (Monitoring & Logging)
Solid understanding of Kubernetes, containers, Helm, service mesh concepts, and cloud-native workloads.
Proven experience in Azure-to-GCP migration projects involving rehost, re-platform, and modernization patterns.
Advanced Terraform skills for infrastructure provisioning and management.
Experience with DevOps methodologies, GitOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release automation.
Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Ansible.

Proven track record supporting enterprise-scale cloud migration and modernization programs.
Experience working in global delivery models supporting mission-critical production environments.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.
Ability to work in Agile, DevOps, and Platform Engineering operating models.
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Engineer, or equivalent certifications preferred.
Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), Terraform Associate, Azure, or DevOps certifications are advantageous.
Experience working in large enterprise transformation programs involving cloud modernization, automation, SRE, and operational excellence initiatives.
