Head - Sourcing and Procurement

· Analyzing and calculating procurement costs and developing cost reduction strategies.

· Driving purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis, as well as market trends.

· Negotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality.

· Collaborating with the procurement department to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities.

· Estimating risks and applying risk minimizing techniques, as well as negotiating contracts that comply with industry regulations.

· Maintaining strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships with suppliers.

· Apply project management concepts to the planning and execution of the sourcing process.

· Develop and communicate in-depth knowledge of key material market suppliers and cost infrastructure.

· Development of New Suppliers, Processes etc.

· Global Sourcing with right price, on-time delivery and quality.

. Evaluating sourcing procedures and presenting improvement strategies to senior management for approval.

Relationship Management





· Coordinate with various departments for timely development of new parts and sourcing strategies.

Key Competency

· In depth knowledge of manufacturing processes – Oil & Gas 8 years experience is mandatory.

Education and Experience Education

· Diploma or Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.

Professional Experience

· 12-15 years of experience in Sourcing, New Part Development.

· Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001).

· Experience in supplier quality management and audit processes.

Languages

· English, Kannada, Hindi.

· Robust verbal and written fluency in English required.

· Working knowledge of Kannada required.

Pay: ₹95,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
