About the Role

Flynaut is looking for a qualified Mental Health Clinician to join the team full-time and support a project.

The role involves providing qualified clinical input, reviewing mental-health-related content and supporting appropriate escalation and care pathways when distress or mental-health concerns are identified.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional clinical input on mental-health-related assessment content.
- Review and support the project's mental-health and distress-response framework.
- Help ensure that indications of psychological distress are handled appropriately.
- Provide professional recommendations regarding escalation and human support.
- Support the development and review of appropriate care pathways.
- Review potentially sensitive mental-health content from a clinical perspective.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with psychologists, psychometricians, child/adolescent specialists and project teams.




- Document clinical observations and recommendations appropriately.
- Remain reasonably reachable for time-sensitive professional consultation when required by the project.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Mental Health or a closely related field, as applicable to the professional role.
- 1+ years of relevant clinical/mental-health experience.
- Practical experience in mental-health assessment, counseling, psychological support or related clinical work.
- Strong understanding of mental-health concerns and appropriate escalation.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Strong professional ethics and confidentiality.
- Appropriate professional registration/licensing where applicable.

Preferred

- Experience working with digital mental health platforms or technology-enabled mental health services.
- Experience with psychological assessment.
- Experience handling distress, risk identification, or referral pathways.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
