Role & Responsibilities:

O’Brien Energy is seeking a commercially minded solicitor to support our growing legal, contract management and compliance capability.

- Draft, review and negotiate commercial, service, supplier and other business agreements
- Provide practical advice on contractual terms, obligations, risks and commercial implications
- Manage contract renewals, variations, extensions, notices, claims and key dates
- Maintain contract, legal and compliance registers, including supporting records
- Develop contract templates,



approval processes and risk-escalation frameworks
- Support legal and regulatory compliance activities, risk registers and management reporting
- Help establish practical legal governance, policies, processes and guidance for managers
- Liaise with external legal advisers, insurers and other specialist providers where required
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across Australia and India

Role Requirements:

- LLB or equivalent recognised legal qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant in-house legal experience
- Strong experience in commercial contracts, negotiation and contract administration
- Sound legal and commercial judgement, with a practical approach to risk
- Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice
- Robust written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience in engineering, construction, energy, industrial services or EPC environments will be highly regarded
- Familiarity with Australian commercial and regulatory requirements will be an advantage

Pay: ₹1,140,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
