Job Summary

Solarstar is looking for an experienced and responsible Project Manager – Solar Projects to manage and coordinate solar installation projects from planning through successful completion.

The ideal candidate should have minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in solar projects, with a valuable understanding of solar installation, site execution, project coordination, materials, manpower, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and monitor solar projects from project initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with customers, site teams, electricians, technicians, vendors, and internal teams.
- Conduct site visits and assess project requirements wherever required.
- Prepare project schedules and ensure timely completion of installations.
- Monitor day-to-day project progress and resolve site-related issues.
- Coordinate procurement and availability of required materials and equipment.
- Ensure proper execution of solar PV installations as per approved design and project requirements.
- Monitor the quality of installation work and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate with the technical team regarding system design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Track project timelines, manpower, materials, and other resources.
- Communicate project updates, delays, issues, and completion status to management.
- Coordinate with customers during project execution and ensure proper communication throughout the project.
- Ensure proper handover of completed projects to the customer.
- Maintain project-related documentation and records.
- Identify potential project risks and take timely corrective action.





Required Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in solar project management / solar project execution is mandatory.
- Candidates without relevant solar project experience may not be considered.
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field is preferred.
- Good understanding of Solar PV systems, panels, inverters, mounting structures, electrical works, and installation processes.
- Experience in coordinating site teams, technicians, contractors, and vendors.
- Good project planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects or activities simultaneously.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in residential and/or commercial/industrial solar projects.
- Knowledge of solar project execution, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety practices.
- Ability to read and understand basic electrical/solar drawings.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and project documentation.
- Strong follow-up and team coordination skills.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of solar projects, coordinate effectively with different teams, and ensure projects are completed on time with proper quality and customer satisfaction.

Important: Candidates must have at least 1 year of relevant solar project experience.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
