Convex Admin & IT Solutions is a growing digital services company. We're looking for an Academic Counselor to guide students and parents in choosing the right courses, and to help our training programmes grow.

Job Summary
As Academic Counselor, you'll be the first point of contact for students and parents. You'll understand their career goals, recommend suitable courses, handle admissions from enquiry to enrolment, and follow up with leads to achieve enrolment targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle enquiries from walk-ins, calls, WhatsApp, and social media leads
- Counsel students and parents on course options, career paths, fees, and batch schedules
- Conduct demo sessions, campus visits, and course presentations
- Follow up with prospective students consistently and convert enquiries into admissions
- Achieve monthly admission and enrolment targets
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and enrolments in CRM or Excel
- Coordinate with trainers and the admin team on batch schedules and student onboarding
- Support students after enrolment (feedback, attendance follow-up, and retention)




- Work with the marketing team on lead generation activities, campaigns, and events
- Prepare daily and monthly reports on enquiries, conversions, and follow-ups

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Academic Counselor, Admissions Counselor, or Student Advisor (education or training sector preferred)
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills in English and Malayalam
- Confident telephone and face-to-face counselling skills
- Valuable follow-up discipline and a target-driven mindset
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Sheets) and CRM familiarity
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Pleasant, professional, and student-friendly personality

Preferred

- Experience counselling for IT, digital marketing, or design courses
- Knowledge of social media lead handling and WhatsApp-based enquiry management
