Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical/ Plumbing Engineer to lead mechanical design efforts, prepare detailed HVAC engineering calculations, and produce high-quality construction documents in Revit.

Key Responsibilities

Ø Design & Technical Leadership

· Lead HVAC and Plumbing design development from Concept / SD through DD, CD, and Permit stages

· Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, system selection, and detailed design coordination

· Ensure compliance with US codes and standards (ASHRAE, IMC, IPC, IECC, NFPA, local AHJ requirements)

· Review and validate drawings, calculations, schedules, and specifications

Ø QA/QC & Technical Reviews

· Establish and enforce QA/QC procedures for mechanical deliverables

· Conduct internal design reviews and ensure error-free permit and IFC documents

· Mentor and technically guide junior and mid-level engineers

Ø Project Coordination & Client Interaction

· Act as the primary mechanical point of contact for US clients and stakeholders

· Lead client meetings, technical discussions, and design presentations

· Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, fire protection, and specialty consultants

· Handle RFIs, design clarifications, submittal reviews, and value engineering

Ø Team & Performance Management

· Manage and oversee the HVAC design team

· Assign tasks, monitor progress,



and ensure adherence to schedules

· Conduct performance reviews, technical feedback, and skill development planning

Ø Proposals & Estimation

· Support proposal preparation, fee estimation, man-hour planning, and scope definition

· Review RFQs/RFPs and provide technical inputs during bidding phases

Ø Software & Technical Skills
Required Software:

· AutoCAD (Advanced)

· Revit (MEP) – preferred / working knowledge

· HAP / Trace 700 / IES VE / Carrier tools (load calculations)

· Excel (engineering calculations, schedules, BOQs)

· Bluebeam / PDF markup tools

Ø Preferred Tools:

· Navisworks (clash coordination)

· Energy modeling software

· BIM 360 / ACC

· US permitting documentation workflows

Ø Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

· 8 to 10 years of experience in MEP HVAC & Plumbing design, with US-based projects

· Pren experience leading SD, DD, CD, and Permit documentation

· Strong understanding of US codes, AHJ coordination, and permit processes

· Prior experience in offshore coordination with US clients is highly preferred

Shift Timings: 5 pm to 2 am (Mon to Fri)

Pay: ₹1,560,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
