Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Line Inspection Engineers to monitor and ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process. The candidate will be responsible for conducting in-process inspections, identifying quality issues, and ensuring compliance with customer and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform in-process and line inspections at various manufacturing stages.
- Inspect components as per drawings, specifications, control plans, and inspection standards.
- Monitor critical dimensions and process parameters during production.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming products.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve process and quality issues.
- Maintain inspection reports, check sheets, and quality records.
- Conduct first-piece, patrol, and periodic inspections.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring quality issues.
- Ensure proper implementation of control plans, work instructions, and inspection standards.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and other inspection equipment.




- Support customer-specific quality requirements and internal quality audits.
- Ensure adherence to 5S, safety, and quality procedures on the shop floor.

Preferred Process Knowledge

Candidates with experience in any of the following areas will be preferred:

- Stamping / Press Shop
- Welding
- Machining / CNC
- Automotive component manufacturing
- In-process quality inspection

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or related engineering discipline.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in Quality / Line Inspection in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Desired Skills

- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Knowledge of measuring and inspection instruments.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of 7 QC tools, CAPA, 8D, and root cause analysis.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively on the shop floor.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive quality systems will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
