Job Summary We are looking for a skilled EDM Operator to operate and maintain EDM machines for precision machining of components as per engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Operate EDM Wire Cut / EDM Die-Sinking machines as per production requirements. Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and machining specifications. Set up the machine, workpiece, electrodes/wire, and required tooling. Select appropriate machining parameters such as current, voltage, pulse duration, and flushing conditions. Load programs and make necessary offsets or parameter adjustments. Check component dimensions using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and height gauges. Maintain required surface finish, dimensional accuracy, and tolerances. Perform routine machine cleaning, inspection, and basic preventive maintenance. Identify machining problems and take corrective action or report them to the supervisor.



Maintain production records, inspection reports, and machine-related documentation. Follow all safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping in the work area. Required Skills Knowledge of EDM machining processes and machine operation. Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T; basics. Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods. Basic knowledge of CNC/EDM programming and offsets. Ability to troubleshoot common machining and machine-setting issues. Good understanding of workplace safety and 5S. Qualification ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Tool & Die, Production, or a related trade. Relevant experience as an EDM Operator preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
