About the Role

We are looking for a confident, well-groomed and customer-oriented person with a genuine interest in fashion and a robust willingness to learn.

This is a customer-facing role at Rupahali, where you will work with customers looking for sarees, lehengas and Indo-Western wear and help them make the right choice based on their occasion, style, preferences and budget.

Prior experience in fashion or retail sales is an advantage, but is not mandatory.

Rupahali provides a structured SOP and learning material covering fabrics, weaves, embroidery, colours, silhouettes, sarees, lehengas, styling and draping.

This is a self-learning-oriented role. You will be expected to take ownership of your learning by studying the SOP, using YouTube, Instagram/social media and other resources, observing products in the showroom and continuously expanding your knowledge through everyday work.

The objective is to gradually turn this knowledge into better customer understanding, confident product recommendations and effective sales conversations.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and attend to customers with a warm, confident and professional approach.
- Understand the customer's occasion, taste, requirements and budget before recommending products.
- Present and sell sarees, lehengas and Indo-Western wear.
- Develop strong knowledge of fabrics, weaves, embroidery, colours, silhouettes and collections through self-learning and regular product exposure.
- Learn different saree draping styles and lehenga/dupatta draping techniques using the visual references and videos provided in the SOP.




- Use product and fashion knowledge to make relevant and personalised recommendations.
- Keep yourself updated with current fashion trends, fabrics, silhouettes and styling ideas through social media and other resources.
- Achieve individual sales and conversion targets.
- Handle customer enquiries and follow-ups professionally.
- Develop relationships with existing and prospective customers and encourage repeat business.
- Coordinate with alterations, inventory and other teams to ensure smooth customer service.
- Keep the showroom neat, organised and customer-ready.
- Maintain a well-groomed, elegant and appropriately dressed appearance consistent with Rupahali's premium brand image.

Fashion / retail sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
