Job Description – SAP Administrator (SAP B1 )

Position: SAP Administrator – SAP B1
Department: Finance & Accounts
Experience: 1–3 Years
Location: Kochi

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and support day-to-day SAP B1 operations.
- Maintain and monitor SAP Finance and Controlling modules.
- Handle SAP-related activities in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting.
- Support invoice processing, payments, receipts, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities in SAP.
- Ensure accurate posting and maintenance of financial transactions in SAP.
- Prepare and review financial reports generated through SAP.
- Coordinate with the Accounts and Finance team for resolving SAP-related issues.
- Maintain SAP master data and ensure data accuracy.
- Identify and resolve system-related issues and coordinate with SAP consultants/support teams when required.
- Assist in user support, SAP troubleshooting, and basic configuration-related activities.
- Ensure proper documentation of SAP processes and transactions.
- Support integration between SAP B1 and other business functions where required.





Required Skills

- Good knowledge of SAP B1 .
- Robust knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles.
- Good understanding of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Cost Centre Accounting.
- Practical knowledge of journal entries, ledger maintenance, reconciliation, and financial statements.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial data handling.
- Ability to troubleshoot SAP-related issues and provide user support.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Computer Applications, IT, or a related field.
- Candidates with B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance and SAP B1 knowledge will be considered.

Preferred

- Experience working with SAP B1 in an Accounts/Finance environment.
- Knowledge of SAP reporting and basic SAP administration.
- Experience in supporting SAP users and resolving day-to-day SAP issues.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
