We are looking for experienced and professional Ophthalmic/Optometry Technicians to join our healthcare and eye care team.

Position: Ophthalmic / Optometry Technician – 3 Positions. Required Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma / Degree in Optometry, Ophthalmic Technology, or a relevant eye-care field from a recognised institute.
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in optometry, ophthalmology, optical retail, eye clinic or hospital settings.
- Practical experience in conducting basic eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Knowledge of visual acuity testing, refraction, lens power assessment and preliminary eye screening.
- Familiarity with commonly used optometry and ophthalmic equipment.
- Ability to assist patients professionally and explain basic eye-care and eyewear-related information clearly.
- Experience with spectacle/lens recommendations, measurements and optical dispensing will be an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in a professional optical/eye-care environment such as Lenskart-type retail or eye-care centres will be preferred.

Communication & Computer Skills

- Good spoken English and communication skills are required.
- Hindi communication skills will be an advantage.
- Good computer operating and typing skills.
- Comfortable using computer-based patient records, data entry and basic office applications.
- Ability to maintain accurate patient records and examination details.
- Professional, confident and courteous communication with patients.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preliminary eye examinations and vision assessments.




- Conduct visual acuity and basic refraction-related procedures as per professional scope and clinic protocols.
- Assist the ophthalmologist/optometrist during patient examinations when required.
- Accurately record patient examination details and maintain documentation.
- Take appropriate measurements required for spectacles and optical solutions.
- Explain basic findings, lens options and eyewear-related information to patients within the technician's professional scope.
- Operate and maintain optometry/ophthalmic equipment properly.
- Ensure a high standard of patient service and professional behaviour.
- Follow all clinic procedures, safety protocols and professional standards.
- Coordinate professionally with doctors, nurses, reception and other staff.
