AI Engineer

Role Overview

This role involves using AI-assisted development, LLMs, and agentic workflows to solve real business problems and build production-ready solutions. You’ll work with modern AI tools and frameworks, with a strong focus on LLM evaluations, observability, RAG systems, vector databases, and AI workflow orchestration.

Key responsibilities

- Build and ship production-grade software using AI-assisted development as your default workflow.
- Identify business workflows that can be improved or automated using AI agents and take them from idea to production.
- Design, build, test, deploy, and iterate on AI-native products and agentic workflows.
- Work with LLMs, agents, tools, prompts, evaluations, and guardrails to build reliable systems.
- Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and AI agents to accelerate development.
- Collaborate closely with product and business teams to identify high-impact problems worth solving.
- Own features and systems end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to deployment and observability.
- Continuously evaluate whether a problem needs an AI agent or can be solved better with simple, deterministic software.

Skills/Qualifications

- 3-4+ years of robust software engineering experience with solid fundamentals in programming,



data structures, APIs, databases, system design, and debugging.
- Hands-on experience building software with AI-assisted development workflows.
- Experience building and shipping non-trivial AI agents or agentic workflows in production or close to production.
- Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, tool calling, RAG, agent workflows, and evaluations.
- Experience with agent frameworks/SDKs such as LangGraph, LangChain, OpenAI SDK, Anthropic SDK, or similar.
- Strong product mindset and a bias toward shipping, learning, and iterating quickly.
- Ability to understand when AI/agents add real value — and when they don’t.
- Strong ownership, curiosity, and willingness to experiment with emerging AI technologies.
