Qualifications : Degree in Early Childhood Education (NTT / Montessori / ECE / CIDTT) – Mandatory
Experience : Minimum 6 years of experience in the preschool industry, including a minimum of 2 years of preschool teaching experience
Work Timings : 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Travel Requirement : Willingness to travel within the assigned cluster on a daily basis and across other clusters as required
General Description
The Programme Lead should have a strong understanding of Early Childhood Education, classroom arrangements, and curriculum implementation and monitoring.
The role involves mentoring facilitators and providing on-the-job development and training to enhance their effectiveness in the classroom, while ensuring successful implementation of academic programs across centres.
The Programme Lead will support facilitators through training, classroom observation, mentoring, and hands-on guidance to foster a high-quality learning environment.
Additionally, the role includes overseeing curriculum budgeting and ensuring that resources are cost-effective, well-maintained, and utilised within approved budget specifications at the unit, centre, or cluster level.
Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with Centre Directors, Centre Administrators, and the Regional Programme Manager to ensure smooth and effective curriculum operations.
- Attend departmental, staff, and administrative meetings to address health and safety, facilities, operations, and human resource matters.
- Ensure all preschools within the assigned cluster implement the curriculum in accordance with established guidelines, parameters, and KLAY philosophy.
- Provide academic support by monitoring curriculum implementation, observing children, and overseeing assessment practices to ensure alignment with learning goals.
- Deliver presentations for Parent Orientations, Open Houses, Coffee with Curriculum, and Parent-Facilitator Conferences (PTCs) to foster community involvement.
- Conduct and/or develop training programs for facilitators,
ensuring they are equipped with relevant instructional strategies and tools.
- Supervise, train, and mentor facilitators to maximise effective curriculum implementation.
- Identify learning and development needs of facilitators and recommend appropriate professional development opportunities.
- Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching by spending time in classrooms, offering constructive feedback, and introducing cutting-edge teaching methods.
- Conduct in-centre training sessions as required.
- Ensure learning environments, resources, and training programs strictly align with organisational policies and standards.
- Implement data-driven decision-making processes to improve educational outcomes.
- Implement best practices in service delivery to enhance the overall parent and child experience.
- Actively contribute to the recruitment process through candidate interviews, demo evaluations, and assessment of teaching potential.
- Conduct performance reviews and participate in appraisal conversations for preschool classroom facilitators.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Early Childhood Education by regularly attending trainings and workshops and reviewing relevant professional resources.
- Assist in the overall evaluation of Early Childhood Education programs and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
- Guide facilitators in creating effective assessments, progress reports, diary entries, portfolios, and other evaluation tools.
- Ensure learning spaces are attractive, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate, with displays of children's artwork and other visual elements that promote self-esteem and celebrate achievements.
- Ensure adherence to all curriculum and academic operations, including the use of prescribed tools, documentation, and reporting systems.
- Drive 100% adherence to the academic calendar by ensuring timely and complete execution of all planned academic activities.
- Promote and maintain collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders through open communication, shared decision-making, and aligned efforts towards common goals.

Additional Skills & Competencies
- Ability to train, mentor, and evaluate teaching staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in standard English.
- Ability to interact with families in a nurturing, compassionate, and sincere manner.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in recent versions of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Edge/Google Chrome and current webinar and audio-conferencing technologies.
- Creative acumen with strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team with minimal supervision.
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned cluster on a daily basis and across other clusters based on business requirements.
