We are looking for a compassionate, responsible and clinically competent Staff Nurse to join our nursing team and provide high-quality patient care.

Job Summary

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing safe and compassionate nursing care to patients across OPD, IPD, antenatal, postnatal, labour, gynaecology, fertility and post-operative care, as assigned.

The candidate should have good clinical knowledge, communication skills, documentation skills and the ability to work effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients as per hospital protocols.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and clinical condition.
- Maintain accurate nursing notes, patient records and treatment charts.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures and treatments.
- Administer medications, injections and IV fluids as prescribed.
- Observe patients for changes in condition and immediately report abnormalities to the doctor.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
- Maintain patient comfort, dignity, privacy and safety.

Obstetrics & Gynaecology Care

- Assist in the care of antenatal and postnatal patients.
- Monitor pregnant patients and report abnormal findings promptly.
- Assist doctors and senior nurses during labour and delivery-related procedures.
- Provide post-delivery care to mothers.
- Support newborn-care activities as per assigned responsibilities.




- Assist in the management of routine and emergency obstetric situations.
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing gynaecological procedures and surgeries.

Fertility / IVF Support

- Assist doctors and fertility specialists during patient procedures as required.
- Prepare patients for fertility-related investigations and procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation of fertility treatment-related nursing care.
- Assist in maintaining aseptic conditions during procedures.
- Provide appropriate patient support and counselling within the nurse's scope of practice.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding fertility treatment, patient information and medical records.

OT / Procedure Room

- Prepare the OT / procedure room before scheduled procedures.
- Ensure availability of required instruments, consumables and emergency materials.
- Assist doctors during surgical and gynaecological procedures.
- Follow strict infection-control and sterilization protocols.
- Maintain OT registers, procedure records and material usage records.
- Ensure proper handover of patients after procedures.

Medication & Emergency Care

- Administer medications strictly according to doctors’ orders.
- Verify medication, dosage, route and patient details before administration.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Maintain emergency drugs and equipment as per hospital protocols.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist the medical team.
- Follow hospital infection-control, biomedical-waste and patient-safety procedures.

Documentation & Coordination

- Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
- Complete shift handover properly.
- Coordinate with doctors, laboratory,



pharmacy, OT and other departments.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Follow hospital policies, SOPs and nursing standards.
- Participate in audits, training programmes and continuing nursing education.

Educational Qualification

Mandatory:

- GNM / DGNM (General Nursing & Midwifery)
- ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife)
- B.Sc Nursing

Experience

- Freshers can apply.
- Experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, maternity hospitals, fertility/IVF centres, OT or critical care will be an advantage.
- Candidates with relevant hospital nursing experience are preferred.
