We are looking for an experienced Senior Email Marketing Specialist who can take ownership of email marketing campaigns, automation, lead nurturing, customer journeys, optimization, and reporting.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience and be capable of independently planning, executing, analyzing, and improving email marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute email marketing strategies for clients and internal campaigns.
- Plan and manage email campaigns across multiple industries and customer segments.
- Create newsletters, promotional campaigns, lead nurturing sequences, and lifecycle campaigns.
- Build and manage automated email workflows.
- Set up and optimize flows such as:
- Welcome Series
- Abandoned Cart
- Browse Abandonment
- Lead Nurturing
- Re-engagement
- Post-Purchase
- Customer Retention
- Manage platforms including Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or similar platforms.
- Create audience segments based on customer behaviour, purchase history, interests, engagement, and lifecycle stage.
- Develop engaging subject lines, email copy, CTAs, and campaign messaging.
- Conduct A/B testing of subject lines, content, CTAs, layouts, timing, and audience segments.




- Monitor campaign KPIs including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, revenue, unsubscribe rates, and engagement.
- Identify performance issues and implement data-driven improvements.
- Manage email lists, segmentation, suppression lists, and database hygiene.
- Monitor email deliverability and follow industry best practices.
- Work with CRM, Shopify, analytics, and other marketing platforms.
- Prepare regular campaign performance reports and recommendations.
- Collaborate with content, design, development, SEO, and performance marketing teams.
- Manage multiple campaigns and client requirements while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

- 5–10 years of professional hands-on experience in email marketing.
- Strong practical experience with platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or similar.
- Proven experience independently building and managing automated email workflows.
- Solid understanding of email marketing strategy, segmentation, personalization, and lead nurturing.
- Excellent email copywriting and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of email deliverability and list management.
- Experience with A/B testing and campaign optimization.




- Ability to analyze campaign data and make data-driven decisions.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of HTML email templates is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns, clients, and deadlines independently.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working in a digital marketing agency.
- Experience managing multiple international clients.
- Experience with ecommerce and B2B email marketing.
- Solid experience with Klaviyo and Shopify.
- Experience creating and optimizing Shopify email flows.
- Knowledge of CRM integration and marketing automation.
- Familiarity with GA4 and conversion tracking.
- Experience with customer lifecycle and retention marketing.
