Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Draughtsman cum Modeler to join our Engineering team. This position is particularly suited to candidates interested in marine engineering, shipbuilding, ship design, offshore structures, and heavy engineering projects.

The opportunity is open to fresh graduates as well as candidates with up to 3 years of experience in engineering drafting and 3D modelling. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing 2D engineering drawings, developing 3D models, and producing fabrication, assembly, and shop drawings while working closely with Naval Architects, Engineers, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate 2D engineering drawings, layouts, and detailing.
- Develop and maintain 3D models for marine, shipbuilding, structural, and engineering applications.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA), fabrication, assembly, and shop drawings.
- Prepare drawings related to ships, marine structures, equipment, and offshore applications.
- Revise drawings based on engineering reviews and client comments.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, applicable industry standards, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with Naval Architects, Engineers, and project teams to resolve design and drafting issues.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and maintain drawing documentation.
- Manage drawing revisions and document control throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

- Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Marine, Naval Architecture, or a related Engineering discipline.




- 0–3 years of experience in engineering drafting and 3D modelling.
- Freshers with solid CAD skills and an interest in the marine/shipbuilding industry are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one 3D modelling software such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and standards.
- Knowledge of fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and drafting practices will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹8,829.98 - ₹25,000.00 per month
