KisanPe is a growing agri-fintech brand working to make digital tools and financial services accessible to farmers. We are looking for a motivated Backlink Specialist Intern to join our digital marketing team and help grow our website's authority, organic traffic and search rankings through ethical, high-quality link building.

This is a fully remote, unpaid 3-month internship, ideal for students and freshers who want real, hands-on SEO experience they can show on their CV.

Internship Details

- Position: Backlink Specialist Intern

- Duration: 3 months

- Location: Fully remote (work from anywhere in India)

- Stipend: Training for 3 Months

- Working hours: Flexible, around 3 to 4 hours per day

Role Overview

As a Backlink Specialist Intern, you will plan and execute off-page SEO activities to earn relevant, high-authority backlinks for KisanPe's website. You will research link opportunities, run outreach campaigns, create profiles and listings, track every link you build, and report on results each week.

Key Responsibilities

1. Link Opportunity Research

- Find relevant, high-quality websites in agriculture, fintech, rural development, startups and finance niches

- Analyse competitors' backlink profiles using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz or Ubersuggest and find link gaps

- Build and maintain a prospect list of blogs, news sites, forums and directories

2. Outreach and Guest Posting

- Write personalised outreach emails to bloggers, editors and website owners

- Pitch guest post topics and coordinate with our content team on articles

- Follow up on outreach emails and manage conversations until the link is live

- Build long-term relationships with webmasters and industry publishers

3. Off-Page SEO Submissions

- Submit KisanPe to relevant business directories, local listings and citation sites

- Create and optimise profiles on business,



social bookmarking and startup platforms

- Participate in Q&A; sites (like Quora) and niche forums with helpful, non-spammy answers that link back where relevant

- Share content on image, PDF and infographic submission sites

4. Link Building Techniques

- Broken link building: find broken links on relevant sites and suggest our content as a replacement

- Resource page link building: get KisanPe listed on relevant resource and tools pages

- Unlinked brand mentions: find mentions of KisanPe without a link and request one

- HARO / journalist request responses where relevant

5. Link Quality Control

- Check each link opportunity for Domain Authority / Domain Rating, traffic, relevance and spam score

- Avoid link farms, PBNs, paid link schemes and other black-hat practices

- Make sure anchor text is natural and diverse

- Check whether links are dofollow or nofollow and that they are indexed

6. Tracking and Reporting

- Record every prospect, outreach email and live link in a Google Sheet tracker

- Monitor new and lost backlinks and flag toxic links for disavow review

- Share a short weekly report on links built, outreach response rate and key wins

Requirements

- Basic understanding of SEO, especially off-page SEO and how backlinks affect rankings

- Good written English for professional outreach emails

- Comfortable with Google Sheets or Excel

- Knowledge of tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Ubersuggest or Google Search Console is a plus

- Self-motivated, organised and able to meet weekly targets while working remotely

- Your own laptop and a stable internet connection

- Students (any stream, especially marketing or IT) and freshers are welcome to apply
