PRIVATE CHEF – BANDRA, MUMBAI

Position: Private Chef
Location: Bandra, Mumbai
Employment Type: Live-out
Family: Family of 4
Reports To: Principal
Working Hours: 11–12 hours/day, inclusive of breaks
Weekly Off: 1 day

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and prepare daily meals for the family across Indian, Asian and Continental cuisines.

- Manage menu planning and coordinate procurement of groceries and ingredients with the household team.

- Maintain a straightforward pantry/inventory system and ensure timely restocking of kitchen supplies.

- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and kitchen cleanliness.

- Understand and cater to individual family members’ food preferences and dietary requirements.

- Coordinate with the House Manager and other household staff for smooth meal timing and service.





- Ensure a smooth transition from the outgoing cook while maintaining continuity of the family’s food preferences.

- Plan and execute meals for guests, family gatherings and special occasions as required.

Required Experience & Skills

- 5+ years of experience as a Chef, preferably in luxury residences and hotels.

- Proven expertise in Indian, Asian and Continental cuisines.

- Culinary training/certification from a hospitality or culinary institute is preferred.

- Strong culinary skills with the ability to customise menus according to family preferences.

- Discretion and confidentiality while working closely with the family.

- High standards of hygiene, food safety and kitchen organisation.

- Good communication and coordination skills to work smoothly with household staff.
