JOB DESCRIPTION : SITE ENGINEER Location: Paldi, Ahmedabad

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Position Overview We are looking for a Rainwater Harvesting Site Engineer responsible for the planning, execution, supervision, and monitoring of rainwater harvesting and water conservation systems at various project sites. The role involves supervising site execution, coordinating with contractors and consultants, ensuring quality standards, and overseeing the testing and commissioning of rainwater harvesting systems. Key Responsibilities Supervise the installation of recharge wells, borewells, filtration systems, storage tanks, and drainage networks. Ensure proper execution of rainwater harvesting structures as per approved drawings and specifications. Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for rainwater harvesting projects. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and project teams for smooth site execution. Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship at project sites. Ensure compliance with applicable municipal regulations and environmental norms. Prepare and maintain daily site progress reports, measurements, and project documentation. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to clogging, filtration efficiency, drainage, and water flow. Supervise the testing and commissioning of completed rainwater harvesting systems.



Monitor project execution to ensure work is completed properly and within the required timelines. Technical Skills Knowledge of rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge techniques. Understanding of hydrology and water management systems. Familiarity with filtration media such as sand, gravel, charcoal, etc. Valuable understanding of drainage systems and piping layouts. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and BOQs. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel for drawings and reporting. Educational Qualification Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering. Required Experience 2–5 years of experience in one or more of the following: Rainwater harvesting projects Water management systems Construction site execution Key Competencies Strong site management and coordination skills. Good problem-solving ability. Attention to detail in project execution. Knowledge of sustainability and water conservation practices. Good communication and reporting skills. Willingness to work at different project sites. Work Locations / Project Exposure The candidate may be required to work across: Residential & commercial projects Industrial sites Municipal corporation projects Infrastructure and government projects Important: Candidate should be flexible and willing to travel/deploy at project sites across Gujarat.
