- Perform business valuations for closely held and middle-market companies.
- Analyze financial statements and underlying business performance while applying appropriate skilled judgment rather than relying solely on GAAP-based analysis.
- Perform market approach and comparable company/transaction analysis.
- Research industry, market, and transaction data to support valuation conclusions.
- Develop and review valuation models, financial analyses, and supporting schedules.
- Support M&A; advisory and exit planning engagements.
- Analyze transaction multiples, EBITDA, revenue, cash flows, and other relevant valuation metrics.
- Work with valuation databases such as DealStats and Capital IQ.
- Identify and evaluate relevant comparable companies and precedent transactions.
- Prepare client-ready valuation reports, presentations, and supporting documentation.
- Communicate directly with clients and other stakeholders when required.
- Independently manage assigned engagements, timelines, and deliverables with minimal supervision.
- Exercise sound judgment when working with incomplete or ambiguous information.
- Leverage AI tools and models to improve research, analysis, efficiency, and quality of deliverables.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
