IQA Engineer (Incoming Quality Assurance) – EMS

Location: Kochi, Kerala
Experience: 5–9 Years in IQA / Incoming Quality Inspection – EMS / Electronics Manufacturing
Salary: 7–10 LPA
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics

Job Summary: The IQA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of all incoming materials, components, mechanical parts, PCBs, electronic assemblies, and supplier-provided products used in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage incoming quality inspection of electronic & mechanical components
* Inspect PCB/PCBA, ICs, connectors, sensors, cables, SMT/THT components , etc.
* Inspect sheet metal, machined, plastic injection, die-cast and other mechanical parts
* Handle supplier quality, SCAR, supplier audits and corrective actions




* Manage incoming rejections, RCA, 8D, CAPA and non-conformances
* Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, BOM and quality standards
* Maintain inspection records, traceability and quality documentation

Mandatory Requirements

* Robust knowledge of both electronic & mechanical components used in EMS
* Hands-on experience in Incoming Quality Assurance / Inspection
* Knowledge of PCB/PCBA inspection, ESD & MSL requirements
* Ability to read engineering drawings & basic GD&T;
* Experience with Vernier, Micrometer and other measuring instruments
* Knowledge of 8D, RCA, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, MSA & 7 QC Tools
