Role & responsibilities

- Supervise daily road construction activities, including earthwork, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, drainage, and related works.
- Ensure construction is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, surveyors, consultants, and project teams.
- Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, machinery, and daily productivity.
- Conduct site measurements and maintain daily progress reports, quantity records, and site documentation.
- Ensure proper quality control and coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections and testing.
- Monitor levels, alignment, gradients, compaction, and other technical aspects of road works.
- Ensure compliance with HSE/safety requirements and safe working practices at site.




- Identify site issues and coordinate with the Project Manager/Construction Manager for timely resolution.
- Assist in planning work schedules and ensuring project milestones are achieved.
- Check material availability and coordinate with stores/procurement teams as required.
- Support preparation of BOQ quantities, measurements, work completion records, and project reports.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong knowledge of road construction and site execution.
- Good understanding of drawings, specifications, surveying, and construction methods.
- Robust site coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and work effectively in a site environment
