About the Role
We are looking for an Analytics Techno-Functional Consultant who can bridge client/business requirements
and the technical analytics implementation team. The role requires strong understanding of enterprise business
processes, ERP/CRM modules, analytics and Continuous Control Monitoring use cases, along with proven
experience in client-facing requirements gathering and solution validation.
The person should understand what the client needs, why they need it, what the expected analytics result
should look like, document and finalize the requirement, prepare expected-output templates, guide the technical
team, validate the implemented result and present it back to the client.
Key Responsibilities
¢ Client Requirement Understanding: Participate in client discussions, understand business processes and use
cases, ask the right questions, identify implicit expectations and convert discussions into clear functional
requirements.
¢ Functional Requirement Detailing: Break down each analytics / Continuous Control Monitoring use case into
detailed requirements covering business logic, inputs, calculations, filters, grouping, conditions, outputs and
presentation expectations.
¢ Expected Output / Use Case Templates: Prepare sample templates or simulations showing how the client
should see the analytics result. Use these templates to clarify and freeze expectations before technical
implementation.
¢ Client Discussions and Requirement Finalization: Clarify open points, confirm assumptions, finalize
requirements, agree expected outputs and establish realistic implementation timelines.
¢ Functional Coordination with Technical Team: Translate finalized business requirements into actionable
guidance for the analytics/technical team and validate that implementation matches the agreed requirement.
¢ Analytics / Continuous Control Monitoring: Understand analytics use cases across business processes,
particularly continuous monitoring scenarios involving business rules, conditions, exceptions, trends and
analytical outputs.
¢ Functional Validation: Review implemented analytics against the approved requirement and expected-output
template and identify gaps before client presentation.
¢ Client Presentation and Acceptance: Join client discussions, demonstrate results, explain analytics output in
business terms and capture/close feedback.
¢ Implementation Planning:



Help understand actual use-case complexity and support realistic effort and timeline
estimation.
ERP / Enterprise Application Knowledge
¢ Solid functional understanding of one or more ERP / enterprise application areas such as SAP, Oracle,
Microsoft Dynamics, CRM or other business applications.
¢ Knowledge of SAP modules and/or SAP tables, fields and business data is valuable.
¢ Ability to understand business entities, transactions, master data, process flows and relationships relevant to
analytics use cases.
Analytics and SQL Skills
¢ Mandatory: Practical understanding of analytics, data analysis and SQL. Ability to inspect data, understand
tables/columns, validate business logic and interpret analytical results.

¢ Mandatory: Ability to understand how business requirements translate into analytical logic and expected
outputs.
¢ Good to have: Experience with Continuous Control Monitoring, Continuous Auditing or similar analytics-driven
monitoring solutions.
¢ Good to have: Experience with reporting/dashboard platforms and business-oriented data representation.
¢ Not the primary focus: Hands-on API development, API/data-source integration, ETL development or
backend/data-pipeline engineering.
Client and Stakeholder Management
¢ Proven experience working directly with enterprise clients and business stakeholders.
¢ Ability to conduct requirement discussions, challenge unclear requirements, identify missing information and
bring stakeholders to a common understanding.
¢ Ability to explain technical/analytics concepts in simple business language and explain business requirements
clearly to technical teams.
¢ Strong ownership from requirement discussion through functional validation and client acceptance.
Technical Understanding
¢ Good understanding of analytics solutions, including data, business rules, calculations, queries and
visualization.
¢ Ability to work closely with SQL/analytics developers and understand implementation constraints without
necessarily being the primary developer.
¢ Comfortable reviewing SQL/data results and validating whether implementation represents the intended
business requirement.




Required Experience
¢ 5+ years of relevant experience in analytics consulting, techno-functional consulting, business analysis, ERP
functional consulting, Continuous Control Monitoring or similar client-facing roles.
¢ Experience gathering and documenting requirements and translating business needs into implementable
analytics solutions.
¢ Experience working with enterprise clients and participating in requirement discussions, solution validation and
presentations.
Preferred Experience
¢ Experience with SAP functional modules and/or SAP tables, fields and business processes.
¢ Experience in Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Procurement, HR, Fraud or other enterprise business
domains where analytics/continuous monitoring use cases are implemented.
¢ Experience creating requirement templates, expected-output formats or prototype/simulation views before
implementation.
