You will own backend services for real estate platforms that handle live listing feeds, CRM syncs and portfolio reporting. This is a hands-on role with real ownership: you take the problem and the constraint, and you come back with the design you would defend.

What you will do

- Design, build and maintain Java services (Spring Boot) that power listing, CRM and reporting workflows
- Model and query relational data, and keep queries fast as portfolios grow past millions of rows
- Build and consume REST APIs, including third-party integrations with CRM, MLS and portal feeds
- Write tests that catch regressions before a client does, and take part in code review
- Own your services in production: instrumentation, alerting and the occasional incident
- Work directly with product and delivery leads rather than through a spec handed down

What we are looking for
- 3-5 years building production backend systems in Java




- Strong with Spring Boot, REST API design and relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
- Comfortable with SQL beyond an ORM: indexes, query plans, and why a join went slow
- Practical experience with Git, CI, and deploying to a cloud setting
- Able to explain a technical trade-off to someone who is not an engineer

Nice to have
- Message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) or event-driven design
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Any exposure to real estate, PropTech or another data-heavy domain
