Job Opportunity Financial Controllership | Fintech Startup

We are hiring a Financial Controllership qualified for a fast-growing Fintech startup based in Gurgaon.

About the Company:
A technology-driven financial services company operating in the digital lending / home-financing space, helping customers access financing through a tech-enabled platform. The company is in a growth phase and offers an opportunity to work closely with senior finance leadership.

Role: Financial Controllership

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end financial controllership and accounting activities.
- Drive month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements and management reporting.
- Handle statutory audit, internal controls and compliance requirements.
- Work on Ind AS / accounting standards and ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
- Partner with business teams on financial analysis and accounting matters.
- Strengthen finance processes, controls and reporting systems as the business scales.
- Support senior management with financial insights and reporting.





Candidate Requirements

- CA qualification preferred/mandatory as per role requirement.
- Strong experience in Financial Controllership / Financial Reporting / Accounting.
- Fintech startup experience is mandatory.
- Candidates must have prior or current experience working with a Fintech startup.
- Experience in digital lending, NBFC, payments or financial services fintech would be relevant.
- Strong understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, audits and internal controls.
- Candidates with short notice period / immediate availability will be preferred.

- 2 days Work from Home per month as per company policy
