Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accounts & Finance to manage accounting,

taxation, banking operations, financial reporting, and compliance for an international trading business. The candidate will be responsible for managing domestic and international financial transactions, coordinating with banks and government authorities, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, journal entries, vendor payments, and receipts.
- Maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensure timely reconciliation.
- Generate and manage sales tax invoices and other financial documentation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Balance Sheets, P&L; statements, and financial reports.
- Prepare, monitor, and control budgets and cash-flow requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management for business decisions.

Taxation & Compliance

- Manage GST, TDS, and other applicable tax return filings within statutory timelines.
- Coordinate with FBR and other government authorities regarding taxation and regulatory matters.
- Ensure timely compliance with applicable tax, accounting, and financial regulations.
- Review tax calculations, documentation, and supporting records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Banking & Treasury Operations

- Coordinate with banks for LCs, CC limits, import/export payments, and forward bookings.
- Manage outward and inward remittances related to international trade transactions.
- Handle banking transactions, including LC issuance, discounting, negotiation, and related documentation.
- Monitor banking facilities, fund utilization, and cash-flow requirements.




- Coordinate with banks for trade finance documentation and transaction processing.

Import & Export Finance

- Manage financial documentation related to import and export transactions.
- Review import/export documents, commercial invoices, tax invoices, and payment-related documentation.
- Ensure proper accounting and compliance of international trade transactions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, customers, suppliers, banks, and external stakeholders for smooth execution of trade transactions.

Team Management & Training

- Provide training and guidance to the Finance & Accounts team on accounting processes, taxation, banking operations, and compliance.
- Establish and monitor standard accounting and finance processes.
- Review team performance and ensure accuracy and timely completion of financial activities.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of Accounting, Taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in Import & Export Finance and Trade Finance.
- Hands-on knowledge of LCs, CC limits, remittances, forward bookings, and banking transactions.
- Robust understanding of AP, AR, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash-flow management.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple financial and compliance activities within deadlines.
- Team management and training capabilities.

Preferred Experience

- 58 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in an international trading / import-export / commodity trading company.
- Experience dealing with banks, tax authorities, auditors, and government agencies will be preferred.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software and financial reporting tools.
- Exposure to international trade documentation and foreign currency transactions will be an advantage.
