Role & responsibilities

Role Purpose

Responsible for developing and expanding Shako Flexipacks international sales across Europe, North America and Australia, by generating new business, developing customers and building a strong export sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new international customers, distributors, converters and brand owners.
- Generate leads through email, LinkedIn, digital marketing, industry databases, exhibitions and direct outreach.
- Build relationships with procurement, packaging and sourcing decision-makers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to enquiry, quotation, sampling, trials and commercial orders.
- Develop business across food, FMCG, meat, seafood, pet food, spices, dairy, snacks and other flexible packaging segments.
- Coordinate with technical, production and quality teams for customer requirements and trials.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing while maintaining required margins.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts.
- Develop Shako’s international brand presence through digital marketing, exhibitions and industry networking.




- Track competitors, market trends and new customer opportunities.
- Travel internationally for customer meetings, exhibitions and business development.

Ideal Candidate

- 5–10 years’ experience in international sales and marketing, preferably in flexible packaging.
- Strong business-development and lead-generation skills.
- Experience in Europe, North America and/or Australia preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Comfortable with digital prospecting, LinkedIn and CRM.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
