Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Zonal Manager (SZM) to oversee logistics and last-mile operations across the assigned zone. The candidate will be responsible for managing multiple hubs, driving operational performance, leading Hub Incharges and operational teams, and ensuring achievement of SLA, productivity and service-quality targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end-to-end operations across multiple hubs within the assigned zone.
- Manage and guide Hub Incharges, AHI, supervisors and operational teams.
- Monitor inbound, sorting, scanning, dispatch and last-mile delivery operations.
- Ensure achievement of SLA, TAT, productivity and delivery performance targets.
- Review daily hub performance through MIS, dashboards and operational reports.
- Monitor shipment ageing, pending shipments, undelivered shipments, returns and exceptions.
- Drive rider availability, manpower planning, productivity and performance.
- Support rider hiring and manpower deployment based on business requirements.
- Ensure proper COD collection, reconciliation and compliance.
- Conduct regular hub visits, audits and performance reviews.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with line-haul, last-mile,



customer support and central operations teams.
- Handle critical operational escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- Drive process improvements and cost optimization across the zone.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards and operational policies.
- Take ownership of overall zonal operational performance.

Candidate Requirements

- Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
- Experience: 5–8+ years of experience in logistics, e-commerce, courier, supply chain or last-mile operations.
- Prior experience managing multiple hubs / a geographical zone is preferred.
- Solid leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of hub operations and last-mile delivery.
- Experience in rider management, manpower planning and performance management.
- Good knowledge of SLA/TAT, COD operations, MIS and operational metrics.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and operational dashboards.
- Willingness to travel across assigned hubs as required.
