Job Purpose

To undertake structural analysis, design, detailing, and engineering of industrial, commercial, warehouse, and other civil/structural projects, ensuring safety, functionality, constructability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare structural designs and calculations for RCC, structural steel and PEB structures.

Analyse structures for dead load, live load, wind load, seismic load and other applicable loads.

Prepare and review structural analysis models using relevant design software.

Develop structural drawings including foundation, framing, column, beam, slab, connection and reinforcement details.

Coordinate with architectural, MEP, civil and construction teams to resolve design interfaces and technical issues.

Review shop drawings, fabrication drawings and structural detailing submitted by contractors/fabricators.

Ensure designs comply with applicable IS Codes, NBC and project-specific specifications.

Prepare design calculations, design reports, BOQs and material take-offs wherever required.

Conduct site visits to understand existing conditions and resolve structural execution issues.

Provide technical support to the construction team during execution.

Review structural designs for constructability,



optimization and material efficiency.

Coordinate with consultants, clients, vendors and project teams for design approvals.

Identify design risks, discrepancies and potential clashes before construction.

Support value engineering and cost optimization without compromising structural safety or performance.

Maintain proper documentation and revision control of drawings, calculations and design deliverables.
