Full Owner_Title Searcher - Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced Full Title Searcher to perform comprehensive property title searches covering the entire chain of ownership, from current owner back to the propertys original grant or specified period (often 3060 years). This role is essential for uncovering all title issues and supporting the issuance of clean title commitments.

Role & responsibilities

- Perform full ownership title searches tracing the chain of title through all owners back to a designated date (e.g., 30- to 60-year period, as per state statute).
- Examine deeds, plats, mortgages, releases, assignments, court records, probate files, liens, easements, and restrictive covenants.
- Identify and report any breaks in the chain of title, legal discrepancies, or recording errors.
- Prepare clear,



detailed Package and summarize title findings in the customized runsheet format.
- Ensure all reports adhere to company and client guidelines, maintaining clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
- Flag and document any title issues requiring further review or clearance.

Preferred candidate profile

- 1-2 years of experience in Full Owner Search
- Solid understanding of the title insurance and mortgage processes.
- Solid attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Proficient with online public records databases, Title plants (Datatrace/Tree, TitlePoint ETC) and similar tools.
- Multi-county or multi-state experience.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
