Position Details

Position Title: Associate - Human Resources

Number of Positions: 01

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Reporting To: HR Manager / Head - Human Resources

Employment Type: Full-time, in-office

Experience Required: 1-3 Years

Educational Qualifications

Bachelors Degree

Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related disciplines may apply for this position.

Master’s Degree (Preferred/Advantageous)

Candidates with an MBA in Human Resources, HRM, or other relevant postgraduate qualifications will be preferred.

Additional preference will be given to candidates possessing:

- Exposure to recruitment, employee onboarding, HR operations, or employee engagement.
- Familiarity with HR documentation, compliance, and administrative processes.
- Basic understanding of payroll inputs and statutory benefits such as EPF, ESI, and gratuity.
- Strong command over MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills and professional writing ability.
- Experience in development sector, education, skilling, or people-intensive organisations.

Relevant Work Experience

Candidates with 1–3 years of progressive experience in human resources, recruitment, HR operations, employee coordination, payroll support, or administration are eligible to apply for this position.

Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in:

- End-to-end recruitment coordination, including volume hiring for field and project roles.
- Resume screening and candidate communication.
- Interview scheduling and follow-up.
- Employee onboarding and induction support.
- HR documentation and record keeping.
- Attendance, leave, and employee data management.
- Payroll input preparation and coordination with finance.
- Internal coordination with managers and employees.
- Supporting HR policies and compliance processes.

Role Overview

The Associate - Human Resources will support the day-to-day HR operations of Primarch Skills and its sister concerns and subsidiaries, with responsibility across recruitment coordination, employee lifecycle support, documentation, payroll inputs, compliance, internal communication, and HR process execution. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and external candidates.

The selected candidate will work closely with the HR team and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient hiring processes, accurate records, smooth onboarding, and timely support on HR-related operational matters, for both office-based staff and project and field teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

Recruitment Support

Support the end-to-end recruitment process including manpower requisitions, job posting coordination, sourcing through job portals and references, resume screening, candidate communication, interview scheduling, follow-ups, and offer coordination.





Project & Field Hiring

Support time-bound, volume hiring for project roles such as trainers, mobilisers, centre coordinators, and district staff, in line with project timelines and any qualification norms prescribed under government programmes.

Employee Onboarding & Induction

Assist in onboarding new employees by coordinating documentation, induction sessions, joining formalities, and orientation support to ensure a smooth employee experience. Coordinate with IT and administration for system access, email IDs, and assets on joining.

HR Operations & Documentation

Maintain accurate employee records, joining files, appointment letters, contracts, policy documents, tracker sheets, and other HR-related documentation. Ensure proper filing, version control, and data accuracy.

Attendance, Leave & Payroll Inputs

Maintain attendance and leave records and prepare monthly payroll inputs, including new joiners, exits, leave without pay, and variable components. Coordinate with the finance team for timely salary processing and resolve employee queries on salary and deductions.

Employee Data & MIS

Update and maintain HR MIS, headcount reports, employee databases, and other trackers required for day-to-day HR operations.

HR Policy & Compliance Support

Support implementation of HR policies, compliance requirements, and internal procedures. Assist in maintaining records related to EPF, ESI, gratuity, Professional Tax, and labour law registers, and prepare records for audits, reviews, and statutory submissions where required.

POSH & Workplace Conduct

Support the Internal Committee in maintaining records, awareness sessions, and annual reporting requirements under the POSH Act, and help promote a safe and respectful workplace.

Performance Management Support

Coordinate probation confirmations, goal-setting, mid-year and annual appraisal cycles, and maintain related records and trackers.

Employee Engagement Support

Assist in internal communication, employee engagement activities, team events, and initiatives that strengthen culture, morale, and retention.

Learning & Development

Help coordinate internal training sessions and capacity-building programmes for staff, and maintain training records.

Employee Queries & Grievances

Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries on HR policies, leave, and benefits, and support the timely redressal of grievances as per the organisation’s procedures.

Exit Management

Coordinate resignations, exit interviews, clearance from departments, full and final settlement inputs, and issue of relieving and experience letters.

Reporting & Presentations

Prepare HR reports, recruitment updates, onboarding trackers, attrition analysis, and presentations for internal review and management discussions.

Administrative Support

Support general HR and administrative tasks related to employee lifecycle management, office coordination, and process execution as assigned.

Additional Project Responsibilities

Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the HR Manager or Senior Leadership in alignment with organisational priorities and HR needs, including assignments for Primarch Skills and its sister concerns and subsidiaries.

Skills

- Recruitment Coordination: Strong ability to support hiring processes, communicate with candidates, and manage interview schedules, including volume hiring.
- HR Operations: Ability to manage employee records, onboarding documentation, attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and HR trackers.
- Statutory Awareness: Basic understanding of EPF, ESI, gratuity, Professional Tax, and POSH requirements.
- Documentation & Record Keeping:



High attention to detail in handling HR files, employee data, and confidential records.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal coordination and candidate interaction.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and people-friendly, with robust interest in HR operations, recruitment, and employee experience. Candidates with experience in skilling, development, education, or other mission-driven organisations will be strongly preferred.

Preference will also be given to candidates who demonstrate maturity, confidentiality, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured and deadline-driven environment.

Travel & Mobility Requirements

- Mostly office-based role in Mumbai.
- Occasional travel may be required for interviews, recruitment drives, onboarding, or operational support at project locations.
- Flexibility to support off-site meetings or HR-related activities when needed.
