Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager to drive business growth in the Vijayawada market. The candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team while also contributing individually to sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.
- Handle individual sales responsibilities along with team management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, builders, and key customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base in the assigned territory.
- Drive sales of steel products and achieve assigned revenue and volume targets.
- Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Plan and execute market visits, customer meetings, and business development activities.
- Track competitor activities,



market trends, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Ensure timely follow-up on leads, enquiries, orders, and payments.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and regular updates for management.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as dispatch, accounts, and operations to ensure smooth order execution.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and support in resolving customer-related issues.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 210 years of experience in sales, preferably in the steel, building materials, construction materials, or related industry.
- Experience in team handling as well as individual sales is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of the Vijayawada and surrounding markets.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new business.
- Valuable communication, negotiation, relationship-management, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
