Job Summary

Position: Instrument Technician

Location: Mundra - Kutch

Experience: 8 - 10 Years

Industries: Chemical - MNC

Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems.
- Read the reports on incomplete/pending jobs from the previous shift on issues such as major/minor breakdowns, emergencies on calibration/repair/troubleshooting from Production, QC, RD or Maintenance departments and attend to them on a priority basis
- Make rounds of the plant and conduct routine/preventive maintenance of all the instruments
- Install any current instrument for new project(s) as per the project requirements and handle
- its fabrication fittings
- Program and change settings such as trip setting, alarm setting et al of instruments as per requirements of the concerned department




- Prepare a list of all spare parts relating to their present quantity/number additional requirements forward the same to the Assistant Manager Instrumentation for procurement
- Conduct routine tests on all automation systems
- Provide adequate supplementary instrument(s) in case of unavailability of spares leading to delays in repairs
- Budgeting Variance Analysis
