About the Role

Gokul Trading Company is looking for an energetic and result-oriented Sales Executive to join our team in Kochi. The candidate will be responsible for developing new customers, maintaining relationships with existing customers, generating sales, and achieving monthly sales targets.

- Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
- Visit customers and potential clients regularly to generate sales.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
- Maintain solid relationships with existing customers.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries, and convert leads into sales.
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with the accounts, purchase, and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- Follow up on payments and outstanding customer accounts when required.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, enquiries, orders, and sales.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities,



and customer requirements.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
- RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in trading/distribution/FMCG/industrial products or a related industry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Willingness to travel within Kochi and nearby areas for customer visits.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office/Excel.
- A valid driving licence is preferred.
