We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our manufacturing/industrial plant. The candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing mechanical machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and dismantle mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings and equipment layouts.
- Align shafts, bearings, couplings, pumps, gearboxes, and other components.
- Identify mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and fitting equipment safely.
- Maintain workplace safety and follow plant maintenance procedures.
- Ensure machinery operates efficiently with minimum downtime.
Requirements:
- ITI/Diploma in Fitter or Mechanical Trade.
- Experience in a manufacturing/industrial plant preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance, fitting, alignment, and troubleshooting.
- Valuable understanding of industrial safety practices.
- Ability to work in shifts and as part of a maintenance team.
