Core Responsibilities
- Execution and Supervision:
- Convert architectural and structural drawings into physical structures.
- Set out lines, levels, and positions on site using surveying tools.
- Allocate daily tasks to laborers and supervise subcontractors. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
- Quality Control:
- Inspect raw materials (like steel and concrete) to meet industry standards.
- Check steel reinforcement (bar bending schedules) before concrete pouring.
- Monitor curing processes and conduct in office quality tests. [1, 2, 3, 4]
