Job Description – Plumber
Department: Maintenance / Engineering
Reports To: Facility / Maintenance Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair water supply, drainage, sanitary fittings, pipelines, valves, pumps, and plumbing fixtures.
- Attend to plumbing complaints and emergency breakdowns promptly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and regular inspection of plumbing systems.
- Identify and rectify leaks, blockages, and other plumbing issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety while working in patient and laboratory areas.
- Maintain basic records of repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and infection-control procedures.
Qualification & ExperienceITI / relevant Plumbing trade qualification preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in plumbing maintenance.
- Experience in a hospital, diagnostic centre, or healthcare facility preferred.
- Positive troubleshooting and communication skills
